With over 35 years of experience in cultural leadership, healing arts, and wellness education, Kwayera Archer has dedicated her life to helping individuals and communities restore balance and purpose. Her work bridges ancestral wisdom and contemporary practice, guiding people to reconnect with their breath, body, and heritage. She believes that healing begins with remembering our connection to the Earth and to each other.
In 2014, Kwayera was honored at the White House by President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for leading one of the nation’s most impactful arts and humanities youth programs. Through Soulful Joy, she continues to integrate these same principles of service, mindfulness, and cultural authenticity into immersive wellness experiences around the world. Her leadership is both nurturing and visionary—rooted in compassion, community, and the deep belief that joy itself is a healing force.
